The sun was shining Saturday morning as our U10 league team headed off to Littlehampton.
With great batting all round (top scorer Will T) and bowling to match (looks like Oscar M was most efficient, followed by Harry B ) Eastergate managed a convincing win!
Player of the Match went to Will T for an all round great performance.
Meanwhile back at the Gate, 14 other youngsters worked hard on their skills, learning the importance of putting your bat down swiftly at the end of each run and honing their fielding skills. The session finished with a game of diamond cricket with 2 coaches and 2 older juniors joining in, much to the entertainment of the youngsters.
Merit award of the week went to Alex B for superb catches in training.
A very successful day for the youngest members of the club - all of whom are looking very smart in their sponsored tops.
