EASTERGATE CRICKET CLUB

 

New for 2023, Eastergate has become a Disability Champion Club, sponsored by Sussex CCC with the training sessions supported

by Sussex Coaches.

Steve Grant, Club Chairman said “Eastergate CC has a proud history of inclusivity and one of our proudest achievements is that one of our qualified coaches and first-team players is a capped England Disability player. The club is also accredited under the ECB Clubmark scheme so when, with the support of a local school, we were asked to consider becoming a champion club with some funding from the county, the decision was a relatively easy one to take.”

Over the coming weeks training sessions will be taking place on Wednesday afternoons with the support of Sussex cricket coaches.

​

We are looking to welcome new faces to the club over the coming months.
